Guinea Pigs Available For Adoption (descriptions follow)

3/1/2010 -Cavy House has baby and adult guinea pigs available for adoption.  4 males were neutered 3/1/10. Some of these guinea pigs will be transferred to a southern California rescue soon (thanks Wee Companions!!) so if you're interested in any of these, let us know. We also have a sweet bonded pair - a neutered male and a female - named Tobasco and Josie. Photos coming later.

  Piggy Family -The piggies below were all abandoned at the front of a shelter in one cage. There were 7 females and 2 males in the cage, so all females are on pregnancy watch. We don't know how long they were together. We're crossing our fingers that the younger ones especially were too young to get pregnant, since they are still babies themselves.

Jelly Bean - Tri-Color female pup-Black left eye patch extends to right eye; 430 grams on 2/1/8/10; pregnancy watch

                   

Cooty - Liver brown and white female pup; 466 grams on 2/18/10; pregnancy watch

  

 

Kiwi - Tri-Color female pup; Left eye has a black patch with a spot of red; Right eye has red patch; 540 grams on 2/18/10; pregnancy watch

 

Chiclet - Tri-Color female; Right eye has red patch; left eye has no patch (all white); 584 grams on 2/18/10; pregnancy watch

        

Caboodle - Tri-Color Smooth-hair; Rt eye has red patch; no patch on left eye; Mother/grandma?; 756 grams on 2/18/10; pregnancy watch

   

Cookie - Tri-Color American Smooth-haired female; head-tilt;660 grams; She will need a home without kids where she can be handled very gently. Her head tilt causes balance issues and walks with a bobbly-head.
